Description

Genuine Walrus tusks excavated from Yupik "Eskimo" villages, camping and hunting sites, these are mineralized ivory not stone fossils. We are selling off our collection.  These tusks are 100's of years old so are pre 1972 and exempt from the Marine Mammal Protection Act.  These are legal for non natives to buy, sell and work with but check your state ivory laws regarding reselling in your state if you are a crafts person. We have had these for a number of years so they are well cured (not wet).  These are  2 1/4" to 2 1/2"  wide at the butt ends and are 22"-24" long and have short hollows that are only up to a couple inches long.  These ivory tusks are great for display, or cut up for knives, pistol grips, carving, scrimshaw, hooks and jewelry, the color will be ivory color or have some brown tones from mineral absorption like Tusk A.  These tusks are all between 3 pounds 2 ounces an 3 pounds 14 ounces.  Price includes shipping and insurance.  Prices are marked on each tuskU.
