This very nice pre 1972 Washington State legal Sperm whale tooth that was carved into an eagle head.  It is  1 1/4" x 1 1/2" at the base and 5 1/2" long, a very nice display piece and could be used for a knife handle or maybe worked into a cane handle by filling the hollow and capping the end with metal or a fancy wood.
