Walrus Oosik Baculum Penile Bone Specimen (C)

Description

 

OOSIK WALRUS PENILE BONE 16” baculum, this bone is very dense and they were used as a club for fish and mammals by the coastal Alaskan native peoples and is called an oosik by them. This one was excavated on St Lawrence Island and the tip end has been broken but it is still 16" long and dense.  Good for display or cutting, this bone is very dense.
