Ivory hippo peg tusks are excellent for knife or cane handles, carving or scrimshaw. With short hollows, no enamel or a very narrow strip at top and are not prone to cracking. Some hippo tusks have imperfections, we will try to show then in our photo whenever possible.

This tusk is approximately 1" to 1-7/16" diameter by 6-1/2" long, measured around outside curve. The hollow depth is shown marked with a pencil line.
